The word ‘innovation’ usually conjures up big tech names like Tesla, Apple, or Google. Not a lot of people would think about the BBC in the same way, but the beeb’s history is filled with game-changing innovations.
For starters, the inventor of television used to work there. They also created Ceefax, the world’s first Teletext service, and digital radio. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
To highlight these achievements and show the world that the BBC is an innovation powerhouse, we created a brand film that showcases the BBC's 90 years of tech innovation in under a minute. The film ends with a provocative toast to an even more innovative future.
